AIR JORDAN 2
It was 1986, Michael Jordan’s second season, and Nike aimed to follow Air Jordan 1’s success with something eye-catching and more compliant with the NBA’s uniform policy. The Air Jordan 2 was influenced by luxury. The sneaker was made in Italy and designed to resemble high-fashion dress shoes with its faux-lizard skin along the upper. Jordan set an NBA postseason record wearing the Jordan 2 by dropping 63 points on the Celtics in the playoffs.
